Heidi Hemmett, DVM, CVA, CVSMT is a licensed veterinarian in Illinois and Missouri. She is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) and is certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (CVSMT).

(Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy)

VSMT can be thought of as “animal chiropractic.” The spine and limbs of the patient are checked for normal motion of joints. Lack of motion leads to: pain, instability, weakness, and risk for injury. Motion can be improved with VSMT adjustments. Adjustments restore motion and also improve function of the neurologic and muscular systems, improve blood flow, and overall health.
